Become A Partner
As the ELIP community, you work, live and play in Edmonton and have insights into the supports needed for newcomers to call Edmonton home. Active partners engage in the creation of community-based partnerships that coordinate, plan and enable opportunities to address the needs of newcomers. Your thoughts and perspective, and centering newcomers’ strengths, knowledge and lived experience, will create our community’s new ELIP.
This online platform is one tool for engaging community. Becoming an online active partner will enable ELIP to consult directly with you, encourage ongoing feedback and insights and create space for connecting with others who share the desire in designing a new ELIP.
The role of active partners:
- Contribute your thoughts and ideas concerning the creation of ELIP and future of the sector
- Learn from others, challenge assumptions, and work from a place of curiosity and creativity
- Bring your perspectives, resources, and passion to conversations
- Build a shared understanding of what inclusion for newcomers looks like and work with others to realize that vision
