Understanding AISH & ADAP

This is a practical, plain-language course designed for people with
disabilities, caregivers, and support workers navigating Alberta’s
disability income system during the 2026 transition. The course covers:

  • Key differences between AISH and ADAP (eligibility, benefits, coverage, and rules)
  • Step-by-step guidance on the application process
  • What to expect after applying, including appeals and upcoming changes
  • Practical strategies for income reporting, accessing supports, and managing budgets
